This historic property was built in 1926 by the Munger family and was on the cable car route to downtown Birmingham.  Five Points South was the first ‘streetcar suburb’ connecting the town of Highland with downtown.  More recently, it was Birmingham’s premier urban entertainment center.  It is in a designated historic district with distinctive architecture surrounding it and it boasts some of Birmingham’s best restaurants.

The entire building is approximately 11,000 square feet and includes two nationally award winning restaurants by Chef Frank Stitt, Highlands Bar & Grill, and Chez Fon Fon.

The adjacent parking lot which belongs to the building is leased by SafeGuard, which provides valet parking for the building of approximately 100 cars.  SafeGuard also utilizes a public parking deck across the street with parking for another 200+ cars.  Metered parking surrounds the building along with two loading dock spaces directly in front of the tower.

There is an enclosed and gated private alley to the south of the building for additional services.
